How do I buy online?

Buying products online with Tuckers is easy. Sign in and you’ll be able to browse all our products and place orders. We offer both a delivery service as well as click and collect from us and not all our products are available for delivery so please look out for this when you are browsing. Once you have chosen what you want then checkout to complete your order.

How do I apply for a loyalty account?

We offer a very rewarding loyalty account to all our customers. These accounts can be set up in store or online and is very quick and easy to do. Once set up you will immediately begin to gain points on all qualifying purchases either in store or online.

What methods of payment are accepted?

We have a secure process for online purchases and we accept all major payment types including Visa and Mastercard.

What is the returns policy?

We're happy to refund any unopened and unused products within 30 days. If you have a problem with your online order and need to return it, please use our return form. For more information about our online order returns please see our Returns Policy

I’ve purchased faulty goods. How do I exchange them?

You will need to complete our returns forms online. Please click here to view our return and cancellation policy.

Is there a re-stocking fee?

While every effort will be made not to charge a re-stocking fee occasionally this will be unavoidable. Should this charge be implemented we will contact you in advance to advise you of this.

 

DELIVERIES AND COLLECTION

How much is delivery?

Delivery charges depend upon products and distance covered and in some cases, we may be unable to deliver to your post code so please check this before making any purchase. Generally we deliver within a 20 mile radius of our Ashburton and Crediton branches. We do offer a national delivery option on a limited range of products; this will be highlighted on each product as you browse.

Do you offer direct-to-site deliveries?

We do! All you need to do is provide us with your delivery point address and any delivery information to aid our drivers. See our delivery page for more information.

How far in advance do I need to book my delivery?

When placing any order online you will be given delivery slots by day and time so you can choose the slot convenient to you. Contact someone in store to find out more about our delivery time frames or see our Delivery Scheduling page.

Is there a charge for delivery?

This is calculated for you a checkout, we also have some information on our delivery page which summaries charges for different locations. You can also call us to speak to a member of staff in store.

How long do I have to wait before I can pick up my purchase?

If you select an order for click and collect as checkout you will be offered a variety of timeslots generally from the next working day. This is based on how busy we might be or workforce limitations which may mean click and collect orders cannot be offered next day however we will do our best to ensure slots are available as soon as possible.  

Do you offer loading assistance?

If you need assistance loading your vehicle with heavy or awkward items, please notify a member of the team and we will help. At both of our branches we do have forklifts so we are able to load large and palletised items onto customer vehicles and trailers.

How long does delivery take.

Here at Tuckers we aim to give you a great online experience so we have made the delivery option as simple and straight forward as possible. You decide when you get the your delivery. You choose the day and the time slot and we'll do the rest. Easy as that!

The 'My account' section of the website is designed to give you 24/7 access to your account details. This includes all your invoices, statements, payment terms and much much more. 

What do you do with the information I provide?

All the information held by us about you or your company is for internal use only and remains strictly confidential. From time-to-time, we may use it to contact you regarding goods or services that might be of interest to you. If you'd rather not be contacted with offers, please either write to us at Tuckers (Commercial Road, Crediton, EX17 1ER) or use our online contact form to have your information removed from our database.

How do I let you know about changes to my contact details?

If you'd like to update your details, simply speak to a member of the team in store or get in touch using our contact form. You'll need to tell us your account number before we can make any changes.

SPECIAL ORDERS

I want a product that isn’t held in stock. How can I order it?

We aim to offer our customers the full range of products they need. Though we stock thousands of items, due to space restrictions it's sometimes not possible to hold everything in stock. If you need something that you can’t find on the shelf, speak to a member of the team in your local branch. They'll source the product from one of our recognised suppliers.

How long should I expect to wait for my special order?

The waiting time for a special order can vary from product to product, supplier to supplier. A member of the team at the branch you ordered from will be able to give you a lead time indication.

How can I check if an item is in stock?

You can view stock levels by branch online.

I can’t find what I’m looking for, what should I do?

Ask a member of the team in one of our stores, and they'll either show you where you can find the product/s you're looking for, or source it if unavailable/out of stock.
