A low calorie fibre feed with added herbs, yeast and prebiotics to promote digestive health.
A soft, tasty blend of British grown, chopped, precision-dried grass and high-quality oat straw for maximum fibre content whilst being low in calories.
Alfalfa pellets are included due to their high levels of naturally occurring and bio-available calcium which helps maintain a healthy gastric environment.
Naturally high in fibre, but low in calories (8MJ/kg), sugar (6%) and starch (2%)
A unique blend of herbs including oregano, cinnamon, ginger, rosemary and thyme are added to enhance palatability.
Contains our ‘biotics’ package of pre-, pro- and postbiotics for some TLC – Tummy Loving Care!
A very light dressing of British-grown rapeseed oil is added to promote coat shine.

How To Get The Most Out Of Feeding Ulser Lite
Dengie Ulser Lite is a straight feed and so can be used in the bucket feed to slow consumption of balancers, mixes and cubes which is beneficial for digestive health. Any level can be fed but between 500g and 1kg per 100kgs bodyweight per day is a practical range when added to the bucket feed.
Although abundant in natural nutrients a broad-spectrum vitamin and mineral supplement or balancer should be fed alongside to ensure the diet is balanced. Ulser Lite may be fed dry, dampened with water or a soaked mash product, such as Dengie Alfa-Beet can be added.
If using as a hay replacer – feed the same weight of Dengie Ulser Lite as the forage you are replacing on a dry matter basis. Feeding 1.5kgs per 100kgs bodyweight will provide 1.5% of the horse’s bodyweight as forage per day on an as fed basis.
One Stubbs scoop holds approximately 400g.
