Purple Loosestrife produces tapering spikes of purple-red flowers from June to August and dark green willow like leaves. It is knows as an excellent gargle and wound cleanser and helps to rapidly stop wounds from bleeding.
WHEN TO SOW March to May
SOW OUTSIDE In spring in a very fine seed bed. The seed is like dust and should barely be covered or, preferably, just watered in with a very fine rose. prefers sun or partial shade in a moist position which does not dry out. HARVEST June to July. When the plant is flowering.
